What is the Voices Only Forte album?

Voices Only Forte is a brand new one-of-a-kind a cappella compilation album comprised of selected excellent tracks released by various groups from around the globe.  After seven wildly successful collegiate compilation albums: Voices Only 2005 - Voices Only 2011, Voices Only is thrilled to offer this new and exciting series to the Voices Only lineup of a cappella products and services.

Voices Only Forte does for non-scholastic a cappella what Voices Only has done for collegiate a cappella during the last seven years: provide some of the best a cappella in the world to the masses on one collective compilation album. Any non-scholastic group not affiliated with an educational institution, whether they are professional, semi-pro, recreational or amateur, is eligible to appear on Voices Only Forte. This means any group or recording other than college and high school groups are eligible to submit.

Voices Only Forte includes not just the "best" a cappella tracks, but the best mix of songs, each chosen for a different and specific reason (including soloists, production, arrangements, style, innovation, etc).

What is a cappella?

A cappella music is vocal music or singing without instrumental accompaniment, or a piece intended to be performed in this way. A cappella is Italian for like in the chapel (music); the term is due to restrictions on the use of instruments in medieval churches.
